February 2, 2024: Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Assumption Royals (Wisconsin Rapids, WI) and the visiting Athens Bluejays (Athens, WI), saw Assumption's basketball squad overcome Athens by a tally of 65-45.
With the victory, Assumption improves its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Wild Rose (Wild Rose, WI) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Wild Rose won 64-58 in their recent league challenge against Tri-County (Plainfield, WI)
Next up, the Bluejays confront the Colby Hornets (Colby, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Athens will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 65-19 league win over Greenwood (Greenwood, WI).
