The Bloomfield Warhawks basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Weaver Beavers to 59 in the Warhawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Warhawks now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Britain for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Bloomfield will battle a Golden Hurricanes team coming off a 51-38 non-league win over Tolland (Tolland, CT). The Golden Hurricanes record now stands at 11-3.

The Beavers (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bulkeley (Hartford, CT). The Bulldogs enter the Capitol Region contest with a 3-12 record. In their last contest, Bulkeley was nudged by Classical Magnet (Hartford, CT), 65-54, in a league contest.
