February 2, 2024: St. Joseph, MO 64505 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lafayette Fighting Irish (St. Joseph, MO) and the visiting Cameron Dragons (Cameron, MO), saw Lafayette's basketball squad wallop Cameron by a count of 67-29.
With the victory, Lafayette upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Fighting Irish travel to Benton (St. Joseph, MO) to play the Cardinals in a Midland Empire challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 15-4. Benton won 50-44 in their recent league challenge against Chillicothe (Chillicothe, MO)
Next up, the Dragons play the Maryville Spoofhounds (Maryville, MO) in a Midland Empire challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Cameron will attempt to upgrade on its 4-18 season record. The Spoofhounds come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 70-54 league win over St. Pius X (Kansas City, MO).
