Missouri High School Basketball - Concordia tops Sweet Springs
February 2, 2024: Concordia, MO 64020 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Concordia Fighting Orioles (Concordia, MO) and the visiting Sweet Springs Greyhounds (Sweet Springs, MO), saw Concordia's basketball squad knock off Sweet Springs by a tally of 58-43.
With the victory, Concordia improves its record to 6-12 on the campaign. The Fighting Orioles travel to St. Paul Lutheran (Concordia, MO) to play the Saints in a I-70 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. St. Paul Lutheran won 46-40 in their recent league challenge against Wellington-Napoleon (Wellington, MO)
Next up, the Greyhounds play the Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Sweet Springs will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 66-26 league loss to Lexington (Lexington, MO).
