Illinois High School Basketball - Fairfield overwhelms Eldorado
February 2, 2024: Eldorado, IL 62930 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Fairfield Mules (Fairfield, IL) and the host Eldorado Eagles (Eldorado, IL), saw Fairfield's basketball squad wallop Eldorado by a tally of 77-49.
With the victory, Fairfield improves its record to 16-10 on the campaign. The Mules travel to Hamilton County (McLeansboro, IL) to confront the Foxes in a Black Diamond - East challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Foxes come into the challenge with a record of 15-11.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Carmi-White County Bulldogs (Carmi, IL) in a Black Diamond - East challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Eldorado will attempt to improve on its 6-19 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 19-6 record after their 43-21 non-league loss to Mt. Carmel (Mt. Carmel, IL).
