Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Erie nudges General McLane
February 2, 2024: Edinboro, PA 16412 In Friday's league outing, the Erie Royals (Erie, PA) basketball squad edged the host General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA), by a margin of 62-57.
The Royals (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Meadville (Meadville, PA). The Bulldogs go into the District 10 Region 7 outing with a 9-8 record. In their last outing, Meadville held off Sharon (Sharon, PA), 61-47, in a non-league outing.
The Lancers now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Chautauqua Lake for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 3. General McLane will clash with a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 42-39 league loss to Clymer Central (Clymer, NY). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 1-5.
