February 2, 2024: North Platte, NE 69101 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the North Platte Bulldogs (North Platte, NE) and the visiting Hastings Tigers (Hastings, NE), saw North Platte's basketball squad hold off Hastings by a tally of 58-53.
With the victory, North Platte improves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE) to play the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 9. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Scottsbluff lost 58-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Sidney (Sidney, NE)
Next up, the Tigers play the Elkhorn Antlers (Elkhorn, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Hastings will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Antlers come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 60-41 non-league win over Lincoln Northwest (Lincoln, NE).
