Lawrence Cardinals (Lawrenceville, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hightstown Rams (Hightstown, NJ), 50-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Lawrence upgrades its record to 9-11 on the season. The Cardinals host Steinert (Hamilton, NJ) to clash with the Spartans in a Colonial Valley bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 2-16.

Next up, the Rams clash with the Toms River North Mariners (Toms River, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, February 4. Hightstown will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Mariners go into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 62-45 non-league win over Rumson-Fair Haven (Rumson, NJ).
