Oklahoma High School Basketball - Konawa trounces Turner
February 2, 2024: Konawa, OK 74849 The Konawa Tigers (Konawa, OK) basketball crushed the visiting Turner Falcons (Burneyville, OK), 73-28 in Friday's non-league test.
The Tigers (7-11) will now prepare for their test against Holdenville (Holdenville, OK). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 13-7 record. In their last test, Holdenville was trounced by Bethel (Shawnee, OK), 55-53, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now own a 9-13 record. They play next when they travel to Healdton for a non-league test on Monday, February 5. Turner will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 43-20 league win over Ringling (Ringling, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-9.
