Georgia High School Basketball - West Hall edges Lanier Christian Academy
February 2, 2024: Oakwood, GA 30566 The West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Lanier Christian Academy Lightning (Flowery Branch, GA), 72-66 in Friday's non-league test.
The Spartans (6-16) will now prepare for their test against Gilmer (Ellijay, GA). The Bobcats go into the AAA Region 7 test with a 15-8 record. In their last test, Gilmer was tipped by Wesleyan (Norcross, GA), 78-65, in a league test.
The Lightning now own a 14-11 record. They play next when they host Young Americans Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6. Lanier Christian Academy will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 95-55 league win over Killian Hill Christian (Lilburn, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 11-12.
