Massachusetts High School Basketball - Lincoln-Sudbury topped by Waltham
February 2, 2024: Waltham, MA 02452 The Waltham Hawks basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors to 43 in the Hawks non-league victory on Friday.
The Hawks now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bedford for a Dual County - Small contest on Sunday, February 4. Waltham will battle a Buccaneers team coming off a 58-54 non-league win over Acton-Boxborough (Acton, MA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 12-3.
The Warriors (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Weston (Weston, MA). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Weston prevailed over Boston Latin (Boston, MA), 57-45, in a league contest.
