Saginaw Trojans (Saginaw, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 58-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Saginaw upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Trojans travel to Dow (Midland, MI) to play the Chargers in a Saginaw Valley bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 5-9.

Next up, the Oilers play the Heritage Hawks (Saginaw, MI) in a Saginaw Valley bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 84-57 league win over Arthur Hill (Saginaw, MI).
