Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Douglas County West Falcon (Valley, NE) and the host Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays (Ashland, NE), saw Douglas County West's basketball squad overcome Ashland-Greenwood by a tally of 45-35.

With the victory, Douglas County West improves its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Falcon travel to Conestoga (Murray, NE) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 2-16. Conestoga lost 52-17 in their recent non-league challenge against Arlington (Arlington, NE)
