February 2, 2024: Eldon, IA 52554 In Friday's non-league outing, the Keota Eagles (Keota, IA) basketball squad edged the host Cardinal Comets (Eldon, IA), by a margin of 33-32.
The Eagles (6-12) will now prepare for their outing against Sigourney (Sigourney, IA). The Savages go into the South Iowa Cedar outing with a 15-4 record.
The Comets now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they host Central Lee for a SEI - West outing on Monday, February 5. Cardinal will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 52-43 non-league win over Pekin (Packwood, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 6-13.
