Alaska High School Basketball - Ninilchik crushes Cook Inlet Academy
February 2, 2024: Ninilchik, AK 99639 Ninilchik Wolverines (Ninilchik, AK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cook Inlet Academy Eagles (Soldotna, AK), 59-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ninilchik upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Wolverines host Bethel (Bethel, AK) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Bethel lost 46-43 in their recent non-league bout against North Pole (North Pole, AK)
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Bristol Bay Angels (Naknek, AK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Cook Inlet Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Angels go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 48-46 league loss to Sand Point (Sand Point, AK).
