Wisconsin High School Basketball - Crandon overwhelms Merrill
February 2, 2024: Crandon, WI 54520 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Crandon Cardinals (Crandon, WI) and the visiting Merrill Bluejays (Merrill, WI), saw Crandon's basketball squad wallop Merrill by a tally of 44-18.
With the victory, Crandon improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Lena (Lena, WI) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 5. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 18-0. Lena won 59-24 in their recent league challenge against Gillett (Gillett, WI)
Next up, the Bluejays confront the D.C. Everest Evergreens (Schofield, WI) in a Wisconsin Valley challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Merrill will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Evergreens come into the challenge with a 3-17 record after their 74-30 league loss to Stevens Point (Stevens Point, WI).
