Colorado High School Basketball - Limon nudges Wray

Limon Badgers (Limon, CO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Wray Eagles (Wray, CO), 58-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Limon upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Badgers travel to Burlington (Burlington, CO) to clash with the Cougars in a 2A/1A Union Pacific bout on Saturday, February 3. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Burlington lost 54-24 in their recent non-league bout against Goodland (Goodland, KS)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs (Haxtun, CO) in a 3A/2A Lower Platte bout, on Saturday, February 3. Wray will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Fightin' Bulldogs go into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 52-46 league loss to Caliche (Iliff, CO).
