February 2, 2024: Orient, IA 50858 In Friday's non-league outing, the Orient-Macksburg Bulldogs (Orient, IA) basketball squad felled the visiting Paton-Churdan Rockets (Churdan, IA), by a margin of 58-38.
The Bulldogs (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against East Union (Afton, IA). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 3-14 record. In their last outing, East Union was beaten by Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA), 69-18, in a league outing.
The Rockets now own a 0-20 record. They play next when they host Woodbine for a Rolling Valley outing on Monday, February 5. Paton-Churdan will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 63-25 league win over West Harrison (Mondamin, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 14-6.
