New Jersey High School Ice Hockey - Mahwah succumbs to Howell
February 2, 2024: Farmingdale, NJ 07727 The Howell Rebels (Farmingdale, NJ) ice hockey bounced the visiting Mahwah Thunderbirds (Mahwah, NJ), 6-1 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Rebels now hold a 14-4 record. They play next when they travel to Central Regional for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 6. Howell will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-10.
The Thunderbirds (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against Tenafly (Tenafly, NJ). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 15-2 record. In their last battle, Tenafly nipped NV - Old Tappan (Old Tappan, NJ), 9-4, in a non-league battle.
