Illinois High School Basketball - Boylan Catholic bested by Antioch
February 2, 2025: Rockford, IL 61103 Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) supporters left the game happy Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Boylan Catholic Titans (Rockford, IL), 46-35 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Antioch advances its record to 10-12 on the year. The Sequoits travel to Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL) to meet the Bulldogs in a Northern Lake County match on Tuesday, February 4. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 14-7. Grant Community won 57-51 in their recent league match against North Chicago (North Chicago, IL)
The Titans now own a 3-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belvidere North for a Northern Illinois 10 match on Wednesday, February 5. Boylan Catholic will meet a Blue Thunder squad coming off a 60-47 league loss to Hononegah (Rockton, IL). The Blue Thunder record now stands at 6-20.
