In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Midtown Knights baseball team scored a tight 9-6 victory over the Newton Rams.

The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Mount Paran Christian (Kennesaw, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Mount Paran Christian tipped Pike County (Zebulon, GA), 10-3, in a non-league game.
