February 20, 2023: St. Joseph, MI 49085 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the St. Joseph Bears (St. Joseph, MI) and the visiting Berrien Springs Shamrocks (Berrien Springs, MI), saw St. Joseph's basketball squad hold off Berrien Springs by a tally of 47-42.
With the victory, St. Joseph improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Mattawan (Mattawan, MI) to play the Wildcats in a Southwestern Michigan - West challenge on Wednesday, February 22. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 15-3. Mattawan won 56-33 in their recent league challenge against Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI)
Next up, the Shamrocks play the Benton Harbor Tigers (Benton Harbor, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 24. Berrien Springs will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 15-5 record after their 76-71 non-league win over Waverly (Lansing, MI).
