In Monday's non-league outing, the Mountain Iron-Buhl Rangers (Mountain Iron, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Cromwell Cardinals (Cromwell, MN), by a margin of 84-59.

The Rangers (16-7) will now prepare for their outing against Ely/Krekelberg HomeSchool (Ely, MN). The go into the A Section 7 outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Ely/Krekelberg HomeSchool smashed Chisholm (Chisholm, MN), 62-51, in a league outing.

The Cardinals now own a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] for a non-league outing on Friday, February 24. Cromwell will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 68-37 non-league loss to Upsala (Upsala, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 2-15.
