Kansas High School Basketball - Burlington holds off Council Grove
February 20, 2023: Council Grove, KS 66846 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Burlington Wildcats (Burlington, KS) and the host Council Grove Braves (Council Grove, KS), saw Burlington's basketball squad hold off Council Grove by a tally of 44-42.
With the victory, Burlington improves its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Anderson County (Garnett, KS) to confront the Bulldogs in a Pioneer challenge on Thursday, February 23. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Anderson County lost 59-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Santa Fe Trail (Carbondale, KS)
