February 20, 2024: Lake Charles, LA 70605 The Barbe Buccaneers crushed the visiting Elizabeth Bulldogs baseball team by a count of 16-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Buccaneers now possess a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Live Oak for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 22. Barbe will face a Eagles team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Northwest Raiders (Opelousas, LA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 21. Elizabeth will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 19-1 non-league loss to Avoyelles (Moreauville, LA).
