Minnesota High School Basketball - Pequot Lakes nips Bemidji
February 20, 2024: Bemidji, MN 56601 Pequot Lakes Patriots (Pequot Lakes, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Bemidji Lumberjacks (Bemidji, MN), 53-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Pequot Lakes upgrades its record to 19-4 on the campaign. The Patriots host Pierz (Pierz, MN) to play the Pioneers in a AA Section 7 bout on Thursday, February 22. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 9-15. Pierz lost 73-68 in their recent non-league bout against Upsala (Upsala, MN)
Next up, the Lumberjacks play the Duluth East Greyhounds (Duluth, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 24. Bemidji will attempt to upgrade on its 11-13 season record. The Greyhounds come into the bout with a 8-15 record after their 77-70 league win over Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN).
