Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Nixon Mustangs (Laredo, TX) and the host Flour Bluff Hornets (Corpus Christi, TX), saw Nixon's basketball squad wallop Flour Bluff by a tally of 60-35.

With the victory, Nixon improves its record to 25-11 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Vela (Edinburg, TX) to confront the Sabercats in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23. The Sabercats come into the challenge with a record of 33-5. Vela won 69-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Harlingen South (Harlingen, TX)
