February 20, 2024: Strongsville, OH 44149 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Strongsville Mustangs (Strongsville, OH) and the visiting Holy Name Green Wave (Parma Heights, OH), saw Strongsville's basketball squad hold off Holy Name by a tally of 87-82.
With the victory, Strongsville improves its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Cleveland Heights (Cleveland Heights, OH) to play the Tigers in a Greater Cleveland challenge on Friday, February 23. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 12-9. Cleveland Heights won 64-60 in their recent league challenge against Euclid (Euclid, OH)
Next up, the Green Wave play the Buckeye Bucks (Medina, OH) in a Great Lakes challenge, on Friday, February 23. Holy Name will attempt to improve on its 13-8 season record. The Bucks come into the challenge with a 7-14 record after their 64-56 league loss to Rocky River (Rocky River, OH).
