Michigan High School Basketball - Martin ripped by Howardsville Christian
February 20, 2024: Martin, MI 49070 The Howardsville Christian Eagles basketball team scored 81 points and held the host Martin Clippers to 37 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Countryside Academy for a Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White contest on Friday, February 23. Howardsville Christian will meet a Cougar team coming off a 103-47 non-league loss to Brandywine (Niles, MI). The Cougar record now stands at 3-14.
The Clippers (1-19) will now prepare for their contest against Fennville (Fennville, MI). The Blackhawks enter the non-league contest with a 2-18 record. In their last contest, Fennville was routed by Saugatuck (Saugatuck, MI), 41-28, in a league contest.
