Kansas High School Basketball - Shawnee Mission North knocked off by Lawrence
February 20, 2024: Lawrence, KS 66046 The Lawrence Lions basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Shawnee Mission North Bison to 47 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gardner-Edgerton for a non-league contest on Friday, February 23. Lawrence will battle a Trailblazers team coming off a 59-47 non-league loss to Olathe East (Olathe, KS). The Trailblazers record now stands at 4-15.
The Bison (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Shawnee Mission West (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 2-17 record. In their last contest, Shawnee Mission West was defeated by Olathe Northwest (Olathe, KS), 70-39, in a league contest.
