February 20, 2024: Madelia, MN 56062 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. James Saints (St. James, MN) and the host Madelia Blackhawks (Madelia, MN), saw St. James's basketball squad knock off Madelia by a count of 76-60.
With the victory, St. James upgrades its record to 5-22 on the campaign. The Saints host St. Peter (St. Peter, MN) to play the Saints in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 22. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 12-11. St. Peter lost 89-76 in their recent league challenge against Hutchinson (Hutchinson, MN)
Next up, the Blackhawks play the Sleepy Eye Indians (Sleepy Eye, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 22. Madelia will attempt to upgrade on its 11-16 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 16-9 record after their 84-69 non-league win over Renville County West (Renville, MN).
