The Pelican Rapids Vikings (Pelican Rapids, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Staples-Motley Cardinals (Staples, MN), 62-43 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Vikings (20-3) will now prepare for their test against Perham (Perham, MN). The Yellowjackets go into the AA Section 8 test with a 8-15 record. In their last test, Perham notched a victory over Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal (Twin Valley, MN), 79-48, in a non-league test.
