Michigan High School Basketball - Cadillac nips Big Rapids
February 20, 2024: Cadillac, MI 49601 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cadillac Vikings (Cadillac, MI) and the visiting Big Rapids Cardinals (Big Rapids, MI), saw Cadillac's basketball squad hold off Big Rapids by a tally of 41-39.
With the victory, Cadillac improves its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Gaylord (Gaylord, MI) to play the Blue Devils in a Big North challenge on Friday, February 23. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 8-11. Gaylord lost 59-51 in their recent league challenge against Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Tri County Area Vikings (Howard City, MI) in a Central State challenge, on Friday, February 23. Big Rapids will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 53-30 non-league win over Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI).
