Minnesota High School Basketball - Cass Lake-Bena crushes Fosston
February 20, 2024: Fosston, MN 56542 Cass Lake-Bena Panthers (Cass Lake, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Fosston Greyhounds (Fosston, MN), 63-34 in a league bout.
With the win, Cass Lake-Bena upgrades its record to 19-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to Kelliher/Northome (Northome, MN) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 22. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 21-3. Kelliher/Northome won 72-45 in their recent non-league bout against Hill City/Northland (Hill City, MN)
Next up, the Greyhounds play the Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Ponies (Warren, MN) in a A Section 8 bout, on Thursday, February 22. Fosston will attempt to upgrade on its 23-3 season record. The Ponies go into the bout with a 15-10 record after their 68-64 non-league win over Roseau (Roseau, MN).
