New Jersey High School Basketball - Union Catholic routs St. Dominic Academy
February 20, 2024: Jersey City, NJ 07304 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Union Catholic Vikings (Scotch Plains, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host St. Dominic Academy Blue Devils (Jersey City, NJ), by a margin of 54-33.
The Vikings (8-14) will now prepare for their outing against Our Lady of Mercy Academy (Newfield, NJ). The Villagers go into the non-league outing with a 21-5 record. In their last outing, Our Lady of Mercy Academy smashed Haddon Township (Westmont, NJ), 45-33, in a non-league outing.
The Blue Devils now own a 11-14 record. They play next when they travel to Mount St. Dominic Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, February 23. St. Dominic Academy will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 55-47 non-league loss to Park Ridge (Park Ridge, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 11-13.
