Louisiana High School Softball - Doyle bounces Fontainebleau
February 20, 2024: Mandeville, LA 70471 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Doyle Tigers (Livingston, LA) and the host Fontainebleau Bulldogs (Mandeville, LA), witnessed Doyle's softball squad prevail over Fontainebleau by a count of 13-2.
The Tigers now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Walker for a non-league match on Thursday, February 22. Doyle will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Mt. Carmel (New Orleans, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Fontainebleau moves to 0-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Franklinton (Franklinton, LA) to meet the Demons in a non-league match on Thursday, February 22. The Demons go into the match with a record of 1-1. Franklinton lost 11-0 in their recent non-league match against Covington (Covington, LA)
