February 20, 2025: El Paso, TX 79936 The Americas Trail Blazers baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Rio Rancho Rams to 5 in the Trail Blazers non-league win on Thursday.
The Trail Blazers now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Las Cruces for a non-league test on Saturday, February 22. Americas will play a Bulldawgs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Chapin (El Paso, TX). The Bulldawgs record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Rio Rancho drops to 0-1 on the year. The Rams travel to Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX) to play the Pirates in a non-league test on Friday, February 21. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 1-0.
