In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes basketball team scored a close 57-54 win over the Berkley Bears.

The Cranes (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lamphere (Madison Heights, MI). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 16-6 record. In their last contest, Lamphere edged Hazel Park (Hazel Park, MI), 55-49, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Mott Marauders (Warren, MI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 24. Berkley will attempt to better on its 5-17 season record. The Marauders come into the contest with a 1-16 record after their 77-45 non-league loss to Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI).
