February 20, 2025: Hillsdale, MI 49242 East Jackson Trojans (Jackson, MI) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Hillsdale Hornets (Hillsdale, MI), 72-65 in a non-league match.
With the victory, East Jackson advances its record to 11-11 on the year. The Trojans host Napoleon (Napoleon, MI) to face the Pirates in a Cascades match on Monday, February 24. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 9-13. Napoleon lost 42-25 in their recent non-league match against Whitmore Lake (Whitmore Lake, MI)
The Hornets now own a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jonesville for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 26. Hillsdale will face a Comets squad coming off a 56-27 non-league loss to Madison (Adrian, MI). The Comets record now stands at 12-10.
