Iowa High School Basketball - Humboldt bested by Storm Lake
February 20, 2025: Humboldt, IA 50548 Storm Lake Tornadoes (Storm Lake, IA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA), 72-64 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Storm Lake advances its record to 19-1 on the year.
The Wildcats now own a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Algona for a North Central match on Monday, February 24. Humboldt will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 78-53 league loss to Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-13.
