February 20, 2025: Mission Viejo, CA 92692 The Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA) volleyball knocked off the host Capistrano Valley Cougars (Mission Viejo, CA), 3-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Beckman for a non-league bout on Friday, February 21. Portola will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cypress (Cypress, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Capistrano Valley drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to University (Irvine, CA) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 25. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 3-4. University lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA)
