New Jersey High School Basketball - Kingsway can't hold off Clayton
February 20, 2025: Clayton, NJ 08312 Clayton Clippers (Clayton, NJ) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Kingsway Dragons (Woolwich Township, NJ), 42-40 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Clayton advances its record to 7-4 on the year. The Clippers travel to Burlington City (Burlington, NJ) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 26. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 8-5.
The Dragons now own a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Egg Harbor Township for a non-league match on Thursday, February 27. Kingsway will face a Eagles squad coming off a 64-60 non-league loss to Our Lady of Mercy Academy (Newfield, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 12-5.
