Utah High School Basketball - Davis holds off Lehi
February 20, 2025: Kaysville, UT 84037 The Davis Darts basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Lehi Pioneers to 52 in the Darts non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Darts now have a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to Westlake for a non-league game on Monday, February 24. Davis will confront a Thunder team coming off a 52-29 non-league win over Farmington (Farmington, UT). The Thunder record now stands at 18-6.
With the loss, Lehi falls to 13-11 on the campaign.
Game Summary
Game Summary: The Lady Pioneers started the game out strong with a 17-point first quarter. Davis scored 11 points and the Pioneers led by 6 points as the second quarter begin. The second period was a different story though. Lehi only managed to make 2 baskets for a total of 4 points. Davis got hot and scored 18. The score at the end of the first half is Lehi 21 and Davis 29. Davis increased the lead to double digits, and it stayed that way for most of the third quarter. In the final quarter, Lehi slowly cut the Davis lead. With time running out, Ellie Hill hit a three-point shot to tie the score. Davis scored on two foul shots with just 2 seconds left and that ended the Pioneers season. Ellie Hill led Lehi with 13 points in the game.
