New Jersey High School Basketball - Delran can't hold off Palmyra
February 20, 2025: Delran, NJ 08075 Palmyra Panthers (Palmyra, NJ) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Delran Bears (Delran, NJ), 49-42 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Palmyra upgrades its record to 20-3 on the year. The Panthers host LEAP Academy (Camden, NJ) to face the Lancers in a non-league match on Friday, February 21. The Lancers enter the match with a record of 0-9.
The Bears now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bordentown for a non-league match on Thursday, February 27. Delran will face a Scotties squad coming off a 54-30 non-league loss to Steinert (Hamilton, NJ). The Scotties record now stands at 13-4.
