February 20, 2025: Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 The Mira Costa Mustangs lacrosse squad scored 22 points and limited the visiting Vista Murrieta Broncos to 2 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host JSerra Catholic for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 22. Mira Costa will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 21-5 non-league win over Tesoro (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Vista Murrieta falls to 0-2 on the year. The Broncos travel to Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA) to clash with the Oilers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 22. The Oilers go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Huntington Beach won 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Santiago (Corona, CA)
