The Manvel Mavericks baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Angleton Wildcats to 1 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Friday.

Coming up next, the Mavericks clash with the Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 20. Manvel will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Rangers go into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Splendora (Splendora, TX).
