Vero Beach Indians (Vero Beach, FL) followers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL), 20-5 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Vero Beach advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Indians host Sebastian River (Sebastian, FL) to play the Sharks in a 2A D8 game on Wednesday, February 25. The Sharks come into the game with a record of 1-2. Sebastian River lost 18-0 in their recent non-league game against Jensen Beach (Jensen Beach, FL)

With the loss, Merritt Island falls to 1-4 on the year. The Mustangs host Lake Nona (Orlando, FL) to clash with the Lions in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 26. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 3-1.
