The Elkhart Elks (Elkhart, TX) softball got by the host Central Heights Blue Devils (Nacogdoches, TX), 7-6 in Friday's non-league test.

Next, the Elks meet the Sabine Cardinals (Gladewater, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 20. Elkhart will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record. The Cardinals go into the test with a 2-3 record after their 20-4 non-league loss to Como-Pickton (Como, TX).
