The Cesar E. Chavez Lobos (Houston, TX) softball routed the visiting Lamar Consolidated Mustangs (Rosenberg, TX), 11-3 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Lobos now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clear Brook for a non-league test on Friday, February 20. Cesar E. Chavez will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Jersey Village (Houston, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-5.

The Mustangs (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Clear Springs (League City, TX). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Clear Springs prevailed over IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL), 7-4, in a non-league test.
