February 21, 2023: Monticello, IA 52310 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Monticello Panthers (Monticello, IA) and the visiting Alburnett Pirates (Alburnett, IA), saw Monticello's basketball squad hold off Alburnett by a tally of 57-51.
With the victory, Monticello improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 21-2. Aplington-Parkersburg won 74-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Jesup (Jesup, IA)
